November 2024: MLS Innovator Network Recap & Insights

The MLS Innovator Network is an exclusive group of MLS & Association Executives who meet monthly to discuss the latest technology trends and hear pitches from two well-vetted PropTech companies. On November 13, 2024, the Network heard pitches from TetherRE and RealtyServer. 

 

Company #1: TetherRE

Each year, over 3,000 agents experience violent crime, with about 80% of incidents going unreported and an average of 25 agents losing their lives. TetherRE was created to protect agents and prevent tragedies from occurring in our industry. Vanessa Martin, Co-founder of TetherRE, presented their innovative safety platform built to protect users at every stage of a transaction. Leveraging direct input from agents and tested for real-world experiences, TetherRE offers multiple layers of protection that address the alarming safety concerns in the industry. 

The platform’s safety protocols include cross-referencing buyer details and running background checks to protect agents from risky encounters. It’s capable of monitoring agents during showings, being able to dispatch immediate help if an agent doesn’t check out on time, or if the tool detects falls, car crashes, or physical attacks through smartphone accelerometers. Beyond safety, TetherRE also includes productivity tools, including mileage tracking and navigation, making it a holistic solution that agents can use in different devices. 

 

Company #2: RealtyServer

CEO Darren Schneider from RealtyServer introduced Xposure™, a modern, fully mobile MLS platform designed to be an all-in-one solution for real estate agents, associations, and brokerages. Xposure™ brings streamlined tools for client engagement, market analytics, and property listing management. 

The platform has extensive features, including analytics into listing performance, personal agent websites, and custom web integrations. Users can also track trends, average days on market, and access information on comparable properties.

It also features customizable CMA tools to create visually dynamic CMAs that transform into web pages, as well as a built-in Canva functionality that lets agents design social media graphics and feature sheets directly within the platform, eliminating the need for separate design tools. The network enjoyed a short demo of the platform that only scratched the surface of the powerful features Xposure™ has to offer.
