Understanding the PropTech Directories

Property Technology, also known as PropTech, encompasses a broad range of digital products aimed at improving how people buy, sell, rent, develop, market, and manage real estate properties. The MLS-PropTech sector deals with the subset of PropTech that services real estate agents, brokerages, and MLSs/AoRs. These companies often use MLS data to build products or use non-listing property data to create products and APIs.

It is important to note that we define a PropTech “product” as a distinct software product created by a given PropTech company. While some companies do have multiple products, we do not treat multiple offers, packages, or pricing tiers as distinct products. The majority of PropTech companies have a single product, often with the same name as the company, though many of the largest PropTech companies have multiple products. We have also listed parent and subsidiary company affiliations when applicable.

We have three distinct directories: one for the companies themselves, one that lists their products, and one that lists their APIs.
